Roast Profile: MEDIUM / LIGHT
Taste Notes: CHOCOLATE ORANGE/ DATES/ BLACK CHERRY
This bright, fresh blend is named after the home of Moon Roast, the beautiful Candover Valley in the heart of rural Hampshire. A very special place, unknown to many, this blend is inspired by that first cup of coffee looking out over the stunning views that surround the roastery.
/ Peru San Ignacio | washed | 1700-2000 masl | mixed varietals
This is a blend of lots from small producers in the district of Chirinos in San Ignacio Province, one of the most well-known areas for quality coffee in Peru. Many producers still have the old, pure Arabica varieties- red and yellow Caturra, Castillo and Typica with some ancient Bourbon plants here and there. With ideal growing conditions for coffee and altitudes above 1700 masl, this area is truly starting to showcase much of its hidden potential.
/ Colombia Planadas | washed | 1650-2200 masl | mixed varietals
Tolima in Planadas is one of the most isolated coffee producing regions of Colombia located in the Central Colombia Andes mountain range, nestling between the vast national parks of ‘Nevada’ and ‘Cordillera De Los Pichachos’. At these high altitudes, with rich volcanic soils and many mountain streams populating the area, the highest quality specialty varietals are found. This area is renowned for producing some of Colombia's finest specialty micro-lot coffees, and are now gaining a reputation for their higher quality commercial community coffees. Coffees are selected from within the Planadas community, ensuring quality and consistency and traceability.
